How did you get started in your sport: My mom coached basketball, volleyball, and track and field at my school for many years, and being immersed in that environment sparked my love for competition early on. Since I was a kid I enjoyed running, and I knew that track would be my best sport. One specific memory that comes to mind was when I watched our girls 4x800m relay team place at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays when I was in elementary school. That experience inspired me to run the 800 when I started track.
Sports Highlight: Getting 2000 career assists in volleyball and winning my Region cross country race in the same week.
