GETTING TO KNOW BETHANY KUECHLY:
Favorite Foods: My grandma’s beef and barley soup and chicken pot pie
Favorite Quote: “Leave it all on the field.” – Vince Lombardi
Favorite Pre-game Songs: Mi Gente (J. Balvin, Willy William), Fire (The Score), & Paint it Black (Sebastian Bohm)
Activities: varsity volleyball, varsity soccer, performance jump rope, Worldview Summit Student Leadership team, North Cincinnati Community Church group leader and Community Center volunteer.
Recognitions: 4.00 GPA, 2x volleyball team captain, 1st Team All-Conference, OVCC Player of the Year, OVCC Champions, OHSAA Champions, National Christian Schools Athletic Association DII Champions.
Sport’s Highlight: During the NCSAA Tournament, I chased down a wayward ball nearly 19 yards from the net, launching it back just as I crashed into the court partition. The ball grazed the net tape, miraculously dropping onto the opponent’s side, setting us up for a kill by our right-side hitter (my sister). That moment not only helped us win the game but also propelled our team to claim the DII National Championship!
Something Unique: Reading and music are a couple of my favorite enjoyments off the court. I challenge myself to read at least 52 books a year and enjoy listening to Beethoven, country, and foreign music.
Next Plans: I plan to attend Grove City College (in Grove City, Pennsylvania), double majoring in History and English, and play collegiate volleyball for the Wolverines.
