Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor, Matt Niederbaumer, congratulates Brooklyn Boetel as the first recipient of the Vantage Financial Student Athlete Scholarship of $1,500. Brooklyn graduated from Huron High School with honors in May and plans to attend Dakota Wesleyan of Mitchell, SD to pursue Elementary Education this fall.
Throughout high school, Brooklyn was a multi-sport athlete competing in volleyball, basketball, and cross country. She lettered in all three sports and earned a Tiger Award in cross country. Brooklyn’s passion for service, teaching, education, and children is evident through her extensive involvement in church and volunteer activities.
With this being Vantage’s first year offering an academic scholarship, we were pleased with the enthusiastic response from high school senior athletes in the surrounding areas. Many applicants from Huron, James Valley Christian, De Smet, Iroquois, Miller, and Wolsey-Wessington High Schools applied for our scholarship program demonstrating impressive academic and athletic achievements as well as strong community involvement.
Advisor Matt Niederbaumer is an avid sports fan who enjoys playing golf and coaching his sons’ basketball and baseball teams. His enjoyment of sports inspired this scholarship opportunity to acknowledge the dedication, commitment, and fortitude it takes for student athletes to excel academically and athletically.
The Vantage team congratulates Brooklyn Boetel on being awarded the first annual Vantage Student Athlete Scholarship and extends our best wishes for her college journey.
