High school administrators and staff recognized and celebrated seniors virtually this year. In May, the 4th Annual $1,500 Vantage Financial Student Athlete Scholarship was awarded to Elm Grove resident and Catholic Memorial Senior, Emma Westrick. Emma’s numerous accomplishments include salutatorian of the 2020 CMH senior class, captain of the varsity soccer team, member of the US Youth Soccer Midwest Conference Best XI U19 team, and TOPSoccer volunteer coach of the year. Emma is excited to attend the University of Notre Dame this fall to begin her journey of becoming a physician. She plans to major in biology or kinesiology and to continue playing soccer at the club level. Having received many college acceptances to outstanding universities, Emma had a tough decision to make. After touring the University of Notre Dame, she knew she found the right fit and place to call home for the next four years.
This year’s applicant pool from Brookfield Academy, Brookfield Central, Brookfield East, and Catholic Memorial was a talented group of athletes and outstanding scholars with strong commitments to service. Managing partner, Jesse Niederbaumer, expressed how impressed he was with the caliber of student athletes interested in the Vantage scholarship program, all of whom were “deserving of this award and give me much hope for the future.” Over the course of the past year, the Vantage practice expanded to Racine, WI, Loveland, OH, and Huron, SD. “Our footprint is expanding,” shared partner, Andy Meyer, “giving us the opportunity to build relationships with new communities.” We are excited to see the Vantage Scholarship program grow starting with our Huron office in the fall.
