GETTING TO KNOW NORMA GLISCZINSKI:
Favorite Class: History is my favorite subject because I love learning about the past and understanding how society once functioned and evolved into what it is today. It fascinates me, and the more I learn, the more I want to know.
Favorite Quote: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
Favorite Food: Burrito bowls
Sports Highlight: One of the biggest highlights of my high school career was beating Pewaukee this year to become Regional Champs—a true redemption after losing to them in the same tournament round the year before. The energy on the court and the roar of our parents and classmates cheering us on made the moment unforgettable. Another proud highlight was winning regionals my sophomore year in softball, marking the first time in many years the team had advanced that far.
Recognitions & Activities: 3.99 GPA, Varsity Softball Captain, All-Conference Honorable Mention, Silver Slugger Award 2025 (Highest Batting Average), Golden Glove Award 2023 (Highest Fielding Percentage), Wisconsin Rage club softball, Varsity Volleyball, Second Team All-Conference 2025, 414 Milwaukee Elite club volleyball (Captain), NHS (Secretary, President), Co-President Hope Squad, Blue Crew, & BC Fire (freshman mentor).
Fun Fact: I love to watch musical theatre, movies, and TV shows. I could honestly talk about them for hours.
Next Plans: In the fall of 2026, I will attend Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, where I plan to major in history with the goal of becoming a high school history teacher. I’m excited to continue my athletic career by competing in both softball and volleyball for Lawrence University. I look forward to challenging myself academically while contributing to the success of two collegiate teams.
