How did you get started in your sport: Being the youngest of five meant spending much of my childhood on the sidelines, watching my siblings compete and succeed in sports. Their passion, hard work, and excitement left a lasting impression on me, and from an early age, I knew athletics was something I wanted to pursue as well.
Sports Highlight: Reaching 1,000 digs in volleyball and earning First Team All-ESD honors in volleyball during my junior and senior years, as well as in basketball my junior year.
Recognitions & Activities: 4.0 GPA, Varsity Volleyball, 2X Captain, MVP junior year, Most Improved sophomore year, Varsity Basketball, 3X Captain, All-State Honorable Mention and MVP junior season, Huron Youth Leadership Council, Varsity Track javelin, State 3 years, 7th place finish at State junior and Most Improved junior year, Student-Athletic Leadership Team, Future Christian Athletes, Key Club.
Fun Fact: I got to take a picture with Steve Kerr, head coach for the Golden State Warriors!
Next Plans: I will continue my academic and basketball career at Dakota State University. I plan to major in elementary education and sports management.
