GETTING TO KNOW CLARE MARCHANT:

Favorite Family Tradition: My family builds a new Lego set every Christmas Eve. We have a huge collection of Lego sets in our basement.
Sport Highlights: Breaking a nearly 30-year-old record in the 300-meter hurdles. During this race I not only ran a PR and broke the school record, but I also qualified for the Wisconsin State track meet for the third year in a row.
Recognitions: Captain, Academic All-State Honors, 3X State Qualifier, 3X WIAA Regional Champion, 3X WIAA Sectional Champion, Brookfield Central record holder for 300-meter hurdles and for most blocks per season for basketball
Activities: Blue Crew, Co-President of Kiwanis Club, Spanish Honors Society, Unified Sports Executive Board, Student Council
Fun Fact: I lived in Scotland for a summer when I was 4 and learned how to speak in Scots.
Next Plans: I will be studying biochemistry at Washington University in St. Louis and compete on the track and field team.
